About

Hello! My name is Trae Tienter and I work in retail while still working on my love for music. My music interest started with my dad’s tenor saxophone. He played this in a band and I wanted to play the saxophone just like him. I wasn’t able to start until sixth grade, playing the Alto sax. I did this till twelfth grade, playing in concert, jazz, pep, and marching band. After school, I went to “The Recording Workshop” in Chillicothe Ohio getting a small scholarship from school. I learned about the recording process, editing, and mixing. I then came back home for a while tweaking on a two cassette deck doing mixes. I later joined a band and one of the band members had a Tascam four-track cassette deck just sitting there. After asking if I could play around with it, I had to get my own. After a while of working in retail and playing in bands, I always wanted to go to GIT. I soon found AIM in Atlanta, Georgia, and transferred to a store close to my school. Going through school I learned a lot about music, life, and people. After about a year and a half, I came back home. I played in a couple of rock bands and started teaching guitar lessons at a local music store one of my high school bandmates started. I did this for about twenty years teaching all ages about the guitar. I hope to teach you about guitar and music, so thank you for visiting my website and having fun learning!
